Although we are the 309 Adventure, we are certainly more familiar with Bloomington-Normal than Peoria. I am always looking for recommendations when it comes to new places to explore in Peoria. This place had great reviews and several locations so I was eager to try it out.
We grabbed a late lunch on a Wednesday and the place was pretty busy. They seemed to be a little understaffed compared to the amount of customers, but the server was very friendly. We mentioned wanting to share an order of fries and she offered to bring them out first as an 'appetizer'.
We loved the extra garnish of mint on the iced tea and all of the food was delicious. Their menu is vegetarian-friendly so don't let the grilled cheese throw you off.
We recommend:
-fries (seasoned and sprinkled with romano!)
-naan grilled cheese with smoky chipotle tomato cream soup with mascarpone
-bourbon BLT
