If there's a simple joy that we all discovered during quarantine, it was board games and puzzles. I have personally always loved both of these, but didn't necessarily make the time for them. I wanted to branch out and support a local business so when I saw that Red Raccoon Games was doing curbside pickup at their store in Downtown Bloomington, I knew I needed to order a game to play.
We selected Exit the Game: Theft on the Mississippi. It's meant to be kind of like an escape room but in board game form. Let me just say... it was HARD. Like, really hard. I thought I would have a talent but we intensely struggled. It took us HOURS and we did not even finish. Regardless, we still had fun and killed a few hours doing something different. I'm not sure I would personally recommend this game, but I would recommend giving a new game a try. You never know when you will find your new favorite!
